PDF proofs will be sent to you throughout the design process for you to check. A final set of PDF’s will be sent to you prior to printing for your final written approval. Please ensure that you check that all wording, information and layout are correct. Whilst Written In Ink will always check carefully for any errors, the final copy check is down to yourselves, and once artwork has been signed off and sent to print any changes may incur a reprint and design fee.
For all envelope requests, please ensure that you send me your recipient list in one final spreadsheet. Prior to sending this to me, please ensure that all of the names and how you would like the envelopes to be addressed are correct. I am more than happy to send you an example template.
Due to the nature of the materials that I work with, occasionally items of work do not meet my quality standards, so therefore I kindly request client’s to provide an extra 15% of the total number. If I am ordering the paper stock or envelopes on your behalf, the cost for this will be added on to your quotation/ invoice.
A non-refundable 50% deposit is required before work can commence on your order. The total balance is then due prior to shipping and once the final postage has been added.
I use Royal Mail Special Delivery to ensure that your item can be tracked end to end and insured. Your postage and packaging cost will be dependant on the weight and size of your item and will be added onto your final invoice. For any larger parcels I use Parcelforce.
I am more than happy to post items internationally and for the majority of countries I use Royal Mail International Tracked and Signed. Please be aware that goods posted outside the UK are subject to local custom charges. Written In Ink accepts no responsibilities for delays in shipping or duty charges.
Please get in touch with me as soon as possible so that I can ensure I can work to your timings and schedule you in. From initial brief to completion, dependant on the size of the project I usually suggest 2-3 months. Whilst I am happy to accept rush projects, a 25% charge will incur on what I deem a rush job.
